Return of the Base Card!
If you were a kid in the 1980’s like me, you know how much the world has changed over the last 30 years. We used to play video games on an Atari 2600 and we were totally blown away by the clunky square pixels that moved like robots. Now, we have next generation consoles that make you question whether you are playing a game or watching actual television. We used to be able to make phone calls from the phone in our kitchen and only travel as far as the cord would allow. Now, we have phones on us 24/7 and don’t even make many calls … Continue reading Return of the Base Card!

TRADING CARDS
I was having a tough time due to time constraints pulling together an interview on Trading Cards. In the wee morning hours, it occurred to me I could probably write reasonably enough on the subject, so I decided I would interview myself. Now for those know me well, talking to myself is a natural thing so it seems to reason that I have finally come up with a logical purpose for this talent…doing my own interview! AND, as luck would have it, I was available! So, shall we do this? BU: Thank you for being here with us! LM: No problem. I was already here, so … Continue reading TRADING CARDS
Judge-Mania
There is a baseball star in New York that has captivated baseball fans young and old over the past few months. He fits the mold of “Bronx Bomber” to perfection. Aaron Judge is larger than life, both literally and figuratively. He is a 6’7” masher who is crushing home runs at a rate that is unmatched in Yankees history. In fact, Judge recently broke the longstanding rookie record for the Yanks, held by Joe DiMaggio, of 29 home runs in a full season. Judge hit 30 before the All-Star break. He currently has a .313 average to go along with the 30 HR’s and 66 RBI. … Continue reading Judge-Mania
