Old photos are wonderful, exciting glimpses into the past and our history. However, an important part of the story is often overlooked: the negative.  The early photographs were daguerreotypes, ambrotypes, and tin types which were photographic positives, meaning they were one of a kind. It wasn’t so long ago that everyone was saving their photos in harmful photo albums with pre-glued pages and vinyl overlays.
