Cigarette Ads from the 20th century
Old Cigarette ads are everyone’s favorite when it comes to a good laugh. The ridiculousness of them makes for comic gold even though there is nothing funny about cigarettes. It’s strange to think that back then these ads were actually taken seriously. Those were much different times. Sadly back then the use of celebrities like Ronald Reagan, Santa Claus, doctors, small children, and pretty women tried adding to the legitimacy of these advertisements. It should have been a huge clue that we were being given a snow job. You may have to click ‘translate’ for the page, but the photos are in english.
Hard pack, or soft pack? We have both…
If you have a large collection of magazine ads we have archival sleeves, backings, and storage boxes to help keep them properly stored. Your collectables will be kept safe from handling wear, air pollutants, finger contaminants, and most of all sunlight. All of these factors contribute to the long term degradation of paper products.
