Surviving The Flood

On Valentines Day Weekend, our offices at Bags Unlimited flooded when pipes burst due to below zero temps. The machines we use to manufacture the Collection Protection Supplies you love were undamaged, but the offices you use to order said supplies were soaked!

Our computers, desks, phones, servers-basically everything that can never ever get wet-got wet. On Monday, every employee of Bags Unlimited came in to work (most of us early), and while bundled up in our winter coats, gloves and hats (due to the heat being shut off on account of the flood), we began to clean and assess the damage.

What we found in the flood wreckage made us smile, despite the tragedy.

As we went thru our soaked desks, we found our treasures. Pretty much everyone who works here at Bags is a collector of some sort. Whether it be comics, baseball cards, postcards, photographs, sports memorabilia or even paper product labels, we’ve got an employee who collects it. Not only do we collect, we also protect. We use everything we sell to protect the collectibles we love, and over the weekend, we found out just how well our products work!

Below are several images of collectibles that have gone thru a massive indoor flood-in sub zero temperatures-in the middle of February-in Rochester, NY.-having been protected by Bags Unlimited products:

This is the miracle of Bags Unlimited’s product line. Our treasured possessions were safe! Our computers were ruined, as were our phones and everything else, but the things we look at during the work day, to help keep our sanity, were just the way we left them Friday night.

So, when we say “We’ve got you covered!” we mean it!
